site updates

June 16, 2026

Good news, I've been making some site improvements that help add more pressure on my behavior.

Right now, I added my daily habits checklist, synced from my Todoist which I have been using for the last few years.

Along with that, I plan to also add a weight chart and food log to add transparency there.

It's an interesting iterative process. At the start I used to write what I wanted to add accountability on in a paragraph, then it became a checklist, and now it'll be automated from my Todoist. It fills me with hope knowing that I'm always improving, and this has been a major unlock for me. If I'm able to harness it to its planned extent, I don't see what would stop me from achieving my maximum potential.

I also think the design of this website needs to be improved more, it's very ugly still.

on yesterday

I didn't eat healthily, I feasted on sugary snacks at the office, along with a very bad fast food relapse around 10 PM. The cause for this one was because I was working on a problem I greatly disliked, it had basically no derivable value and frustrated me because of how artificial it was. So much so that I kept on working on it until just after 9 PM. I was pretty pissed at this point because I had basically lost my evening, I had a lot planned, these site updates were supposed to happen yesterday, actually. I think the lesson to be learned here is to adhere to a strict time where after it, I will stop working and silence notifications. As for the sugary snacks, I think my food log should solve that one.

I didn't sleep that well either. I did sleep around 6 hours, and somewhat around my usual time, with a correct wakeup time, so it wasn't disastrous. But because of that late night event, I ended up "taking my evening" late.

I did learn, I don't know if it was a lot. I actually don't even remember what I learned yesterday. This seems to be a recurring issue. Sure I might be able to learn something in the moment with agents, but without spaced repetition, I just end up forgetting. Something I want to try for this is having a skill such that my agents forward a topic/knowledge point to a repository where I keep my learnings, and then I can apply spaced repetition there.
